Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Foston, Derbyshire

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum + benefits & bonus packages

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer for our Derbyshire based Engineering client.

Our client's technologies collect accurate real-time data about components during the production process, giving an unrivalled level of quality control that helps businesses reduce scrap, increase throughput, and save both time and money.

To support our client’s growth strategy, we are looking for a number of Technical Sales Engineers with a proven track record of selling capital equipment in engineering and driving innovation.

Applicants must have a fresh and dynamic approach to sales, be up for a challenge and feel passionate about pursuing a rewarding career in metrology solutions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pro-actively and independently seek new business opportunities and revenue streams.

• Turn enquiries into leads and opportunities, working with these through to closure.

• Establish new and maintain existing customer relationships.

• Manage and interpret customer requirements, calculating relevant quotations and handling

Negotiations.

• Contribute towards meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Co-ordinate sales activity and maintain data using a CRM system.

• Perform machine demonstrations both on and off-site.

• Attend national trade shows, in-house exhibitions and other marketing events as required.
